The brief
A retail unit inside Nakheel Mall on Palm Jumeirah, fitted out while the centre stayed open to the public. The MEP scope covered the services behind the shopfit — power and lighting, air conditioning to the sales floor, and drainage where the unit required it.
What we did
- Lighting and small power to the shopfit layout
- Air conditioning and ducting to the sales floor
- Water supply and drainage where required
- Testing, commissioning and handover records

Mall units are the tightest programmes we work to. Deliveries, hot works and anything noisy were booked through the centre’s technical team, and the sequence was built backwards from those slots rather than from an ideal programme.
Outcome
The unit was handed over with the systems tested and the commissioning records issued to the tenant and the centre’s technical team.
