What does DEWA approved actually mean?
It means Xylem is registered with DEWA to carry out electrical work and submit applications. In practice it means your submission is prepared and followed up by our own staff rather than passed to an outside party.
What do you need from me to start an application?
We confirm the exact documents at the site survey, because it depends on the property, the tenancy and what is already installed. Bringing any existing drawings to the visit saves a round of questions.
How long does approval take?
It varies with the type of application and the load involved, so we give you a realistic view at the survey rather than a number that sounds good and then slips.
