The brief
A bakery and café at Mirdif City Centre. Baking equipment is heavy on power and on extract, and the drainage has to cope with a working production area as well as a customer-facing counter.
What we did
- Power distribution and final connections to kitchen equipment
- Hot and cold water supply and grease-bearing drainage
- Kitchen extract, make-up air and air conditioning
- Testing, commissioning and handover records
On site
The unit was fitted out inside a trading mall. Extract routing was the constraint — the route to the riser dictated the ceiling coordination, and the make-up air had to balance it or the space would have run negative.
Outcome
Handed over commissioned, with extract and make-up air balanced and the records issued to the operator and the centre.
